Unfortunately, I haven't enabled Pavatars on this site yet, so it won't work. I probably should do that. Give me a little bit.

Let me rephrase that (about not being a need for another OpenID server): There isn't really a need for me to create another multi-user server on the internet unless said server is created for friends or family or used as a login system for my own network of web apps, if such a thing existed, which would then provide the benefit of being OpenIDs everywhere else. I'd greatly encourage others to use one of the larger providers or to do something like I think you're doing and run your own single user OpenID server. I'm just a sucker for random web apps, and this one (openid server) got my head turning a bit.

At this point, I've got an OpenID server running at users.ravsonic.com. I've not got to mess with it in a few months, so it is pretty rough. The only Gravatar interaction (and I wouldn't really give it the benefit of calling it that) my system will do is recognize you have one and place it on your OpenID page. (users.ravsonic.com/user/leeadkins). If a site takes the microformat Pavatar instead, you can use your OpenID as an endpoint url for that, and the OpenID server will pipe your gravatar through. My original goal was to make the OpenID page a sort of universal contact page serving up hCards as well, but I've never gotten around to uploading any of the newer templates for Smarty that do that. You can play around with it if you'd like, but unfortunately it's pretty disappointing once you actually get in there. It was more of a proof of concept. I had considered continuing on with my plans for it, but I don't really think there is a need for another OpenID server on the web.

Mind if I test the openid logging? I'm curious about the openid / gravatar interaction (if any)
